Providing your payment details
If you are receiving a WIA, Wajong, WAO, or WAZO benefit and your employer or former employer is self-insured (‘eigenrisicodrager’), you will receive a letter from us asking you to provide your payment details.
Why do we need your payment details?
At the moment, you are receiving your benefit payments from your employer or former employer. However UWV will soon take over this process.
When you provide your payment details, you can choose to whom you want the payment to be made to. We can transfer your benefit directly to you or, if you would prefer to receive your benefit in the same way as you are now, we can transfer them to your employer or former employer.
What do you need to do?
In order for us to transfer your benefit, you must provide us with the payment details of the bank account to which you want your benefit to be paid. Log in to Mijn UWV using either your Digid account or a valid European electronic ID (‘Europees erkend inlogmiddel’) and complete the online form.
What will you need when completing the form?
When you fill in the form you will be asked for the following details:
- your citizen service number (BSN)
- the bank account name
- the bank account number
Once we have received your details
We will confirm that we have received your form within 4 weeks.
If you need more information please call us. Keep your citizen service number close to hand so we can help you quickly and efficiently.
