    While receiving an UWV top-up benefit

    Receiving an UWV top-up benefit comes with certain obligations. From the moment you have applied for a top-up benefit, the following rules apply:

    • Keep all UWV top-up benefit documents for at least 2 years.
    • Report changes to us within 1 week of you being aware of them.

    The following types of changes must be reported:

    • changes to your personal situation (for example if your telephone number changes)
    • changes in your living situation (for example, if you start living together)
    • changes to your, or your partner's, income

    If you are not sure whether you need to report a change, then please call us.
